Last weekend we were invited down to a family get-together in North Devon - it was so much fun! :D

We had a brilliant time in a picturesque location surrounded by family and new friends too :D

It was a great time to switch off the phone (for once) and chill out.

Saturday afternoon we spent a couple of hours in Lynton and Lynmouth, travelling on the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway, which always reminds me of being a child and has always stuck in my memory. On Sunday we visited Instow and Appledore for an afternoon meal, then made our way back to watch The Greatest Showman before saying our goodbyes before returning home.

Here are some moments from when I switched the camera on:

The famous Lynton and Lynmouth funicular Cliff Railway opened in 1890 and is the highest and the steepest totally water powered railway in the world! This historic funicular Cliff Railway connects the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth providing stunning coastal views that will be the highlight of any visit.
